Diversity
The diversity of cultures, races, classes, genders, sexualities, religions, ages, among other social markers, form part of and constitute societies. As such, the studies that focus on diversity can be carried out with different focuses, whether with the internal public of the organizations or externally, with the general population.
See some examples:
- The actions of environmental sustainability are effective when they are adapted to each reality. From the development phase to the evaluation of these actions, it is important that research be carried out considering the cultural diversity of each local community.
- It is not enough for a company to implement diversity programs if diversity as a value is not perceived by consumers in their experiences with products and/or services offered. Therefore, it is important to carry out research that verifies the social representations that the consumers have on diversity, as well as to validate the perception that they have about the brand on that topic.
- Another example of research on diversity is carried out internally to assess the impacts of diversity programs on the results of the company and on the organizational climate.
